This is my entry to Ludum Dare 38, written entirely in assembly over about two and a half days at the loss of my sanity.
Due to the limited time span and zero sleep the code is rather ugly and pretty inefficient. But what I achieved in this short period of time with little experience was decent, I think..
I will do a writeup on this project in the near future detailing what I did wrong and right, what could be changed and how, etc etc.. If the link to said writeup isn’t here then I likely haven’t got around to doing it yet.
Anyway, here are some of the main features:
- Large animated sprites (built from 8x8 sprites)
- Solid platforming and control
- Basic AI
- Projectiles and damage
- Fancy (not) intro screen with music
